With the objective of protecting wealth dispersed in the High Valleys Comminges and maintain local customs and traditions hill, the Académie Julien Sacaze (Scholarly Society founded in 1922) lays its archaeological collections in the museum of the city, supplementing the initial background this institution, organized around the origin of the relief map of the Pyrenees due to Toussaint Lézat. Collected by Louis Saudinos and arrival at the museum in 1951, this ethnographic collection tools and artefacts relating to Arts and Popular Traditions. A set of lithographs, drawings, prints, and posters of the nineteenth and twentieth century provides an overview of resources Bagneres-de-Luchon and Comminges.
